Heart Cleaning
Matt 7:3-5
IÂll pray for you.
This is a statement that is often said and sometimes when we do pray for others, we add our own thoughts to the prayer. In actuality they may be issues in our heart that we may not have recognized as problems.
Perhaps, what seems to be from our heart is really our heart wanting to be clean. Also that may be why the Lord said in Matt 7:3-5 ÂAnd why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Our heart knows this and wants to be clean.
If we go to the Lord and ask Him to show us those issues that need cleaning, He will help us. Here is a prayer to consider: ÂFather, I have not realized that I have areas in my life that need cleaning. May your Holy Spirit show me those areas and help me bring them to you for forgiveness and cleaning. In Jesus Name, Amen.Â
